What is Buzdeo?
Buzdeo is a site dedicated to the private sharing of videos with friends, family,
work friends, collegeues, clients, basically we enable you to maintain a collection
of videos and then decide who you should share them with. We created this site,
because we wanted to share videos with family relatives, but wanted total security.
We looked at other video sharing sites, but they all seemed to be geared up to public
broastcasting, which we did not really want, so buzdeo was born. We were very fortunate
to have people around us who understand the technology for streaming video over
the web, and so we have been able to grow and support the site quickly and easily.
Our manta is through simplicy comes enjoyment, since we feel that techology should
be easy to use and fun. Wither you are just looking share some video clips of a
recent family addition, or an evening out, we hope that you will feel happy
using Buzdeo to share your memories.

What is the difference between Buzdeo and other video sharing sites?
Our biggest difference between Buzdeo and other web sharing web sites, is that Buzdeo is about
Safety,security and above all ensuring that you stay in control of your videos. Unlike the vast majority of video sharing sites,
Buzdeo does not take any rights over your content, your content remains yours and when you remove your content, no copies are kept by us.
We don't have any adverts or watermark your videos, we believe people are prepared to pay a
small monthly subscription to share thier videos in a secure and friendly environment.

Can I try it out for free?
Yes, we give all new sign ups 15 days completely free, to try the service
and find out if you like it. If after the 15 days you want to subscribe then
you can take out a plan and upgrade. If you decide that Buzdeo is not for you, then
you can just close your account. We unfortunately can't keep any videos after your
trial period indefinately, once your initial trial period is up and you do not continue,
the streaming will stop but we will keep your videos for 10 days in case you decide
to subcribe.

Do I need any additional Software
to use Buzdeo?
No we have built this site so you don't have to become a technical genius
in video encoding and streaming. You will need to have the ability to get your videos
from your camcorder or Mobile hanset to your computer, but once you have done that
you simply upload your video file and we do the rest.

What kind of web browser do I
need to use Buzdeo?
We have tested buzdeo against Internet Explorer ( version 6.x, & 7.x)
and Mozilla Firefox(2.x), thats not to say that it won't work with other browsers.
However if you are experiencing unusual things happening please contact us and let
us know what is happening and we'll try to help. All Brosers must be configured
to support javascript and the Adobe Flash Plugin 8.x or higher.

How do I know my videos are safe
and secure?
We have all our servers located in financial services grade data centers,these
are data centers which are have tightly controlled access and locked in cages.
(Even we can't get physical access without prior agreement!) Our staff have all
come from a background of financial services to really understand the security controls
required for keeping data secure. That said, you also have responsibility to make
sure that you don't give your password out and ensure that you log off if using
a public computer. We take security very seriously, since that was one of the main
reasons for creating this site, if you have any concerns, please contact us and
were sure we can alay any fears you may have.

Do I need broadband to use Buzdeo?
Although you can stream over low bandwith connections, its fair to say its a painful experience, that's why we really advise that you only use broadband with our site.
It will work with 56Kb modems (albiet very slowly) but we do not recomend using it
this way.

What is Flash Video Format?
Buzdeo is able to accept virtually all video formats, so instead
of you having to work out how to convert and compress your video, you can just upload
the file and let Buzdeo take care of the difficult work. The reason Buzdeo has chosen
to use the Flash Video Format (or sometimes refered to asFLV) is that it can be
played on over 98% of browsers without having to install anything. This means that
it is very likely that when you share your video's your friends will be able to
view them without problems. Other forms of streaming, including windows media player,
often require the obtaining of a CODEC before a video can be played. Over the last
few years Flash Video Format has become the defacto web standard, for simplicity
and compatibility.

We have created a number of membership packages to suit everyone. From a low volume home user sharing videos with friends and family

How do I know if my browser will work with Buzdeo?
Most Browsers will work perfectly with Buzdeo however, for some parts of the website you will need to have something called Javascript enabled.
Javascript enables the Web page to be more interactive and reduces the number of times that your browser has to go to our servers making browsing
faster. To find out if you have javascript enabled, visit our Diagnostics page here and we will run a quick test to see
